Actors Theatre of Indiana Preview & a Night of Trick or Treating

Carmel City Center will be hosting a concert featuring the Actors Theatre of Indiana and an evening of ‘Trick or Treating’ for kids and adults on Wednesday, October 30.

Actors Theatre of Indiana will be performing a short preview of tunes from its upcoming performance of  “The Odd Couple” on Wednesday, October 30 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The concert will be held at Hubbard & Cravens located in the interior of Carmel City Center. Seating will be available on a first come, first-served basis.  The public is invited to attend this free event.

The Odd Couple – Meet Oscar Madison, a divorced and carefree slob, whose greatest concern in life is making his alimony payments on time, give or take a few months. But Oscar’s life is about to turn upside-down with the arrival of his longtime friend and new roomie, Felix Ungar, an uptight neat-freak, whose wife has just kicked him out. Mix in two British sisters, a gang of poker boys, and a botched London Broil, and hilarity ensues.

A Night of ‘Trick or Treating’ – Kids and adults are welcomed to dress up for a night of ‘Trick or Treating’ at Carmel City Center. Participating retailers and restaurants will be handing out treats beginning at 5 p.m. until close. Adults in costume get a special treat from the retailers 14 Districts Weekend and Rain Aveda Salon and Spa. 14 Districts Weekend & Rain Aveda Salon and Spa will pass out 2 vouchers to each adult  for Carmel Symphony Orchestra’s concert “The Artistry of Di Wu” on  Saturday, November 9th at 7:30 p.m.  Pianist Di Wu performs Gershwin and Liszt in this powerful program.

Hubbard & Cravens is located on the interior of Carmel City Center, located on the southwest corner of Range Line Road and City Center Drive (click here for map). Surface parking is available on plaza level (accessible from City Center Drive), in the underground garage (accessible from Range Line Road) and along Veterans Way located to the south of Carmel City Center. ATI Sidewalk Concert - August 30

Head to Carmel City Center Friday, August 30 at 7:30 p.m. and enjoy an evening of music with a sidewalk concert featuring the Actors Theatre of Indiana performing some their greatest tunes from last season’s “Route 66” and a sneak peak of their upcoming show “Always Patsy Cline”.

 

Always Patsy Cline – This true tale of friendship is told through the letters of Louise Segar, a devoted fan who befriended Patsy Cline at a Texas honky-tonk. Featuring Cline’s unforgettable hits, this funny and touching tribute celebrates the life and career of the legendary singer who died tragically in a plane crash. “Crazy”, “I Fall To Pieces”, “Sweet Dreams” and “Walking After Midnight” are just a few of the 27 featured songs – you’d be “Crazy” to miss it!

Route 66 – Beginning with the sounds of 1950s Chicago and traveling along the “Main Street of America” to the California coast with the surf music of the 1960s, the evening will feature some of the greatest “Rock ‘n’ Road” hits of the 20th century! Songs include “Dead Man’s Curve,” “King of the Road,” “Little Old Lady from Pasadena”, “Six Days On the Road,” “Little GTO,” “Fun, Fun, Fun” and many more. Get your kicks with what will be a high-octane evening of entertainment!

The sidewalk concert will be held in front of Authentic Sports Collectibles storefront at 715 Hanover Place located in the interior of Carmel City Center. Outdoor seating will be available on a first come, first-served basis.
