“Many people have the perception that spinning is either intimidating or boring—SpinCycle is neither of those. It brings together two of my favorite disciplines, spinning and yoga, taught by the very best instructors in the area,” said Cathy.

The Yoga Studio features a dynamic, challenging style of yoga that will help you lead a happier, healthier and more productive life. Combining the ancient yoga traditions with breathing, moving and meditation brings a new awareness and awakens you to a deeper connection to yourself and others. In every class, you experience strength, endurance training and flexibility. Classes offered include Vinyasa, Slow Flow, Power Yoga, Short Form Ashtanga and Yin Yoga. The Yoga Studio also offers specialty restorative classes that mix yoga with Thai body work. All classes are either hot or heated. In addition to their signature classes, private instruction will also be available, which allows the teacher to customize a practice for people with injuries, limitations, or those new to the practice.

“The Yoga Studio will inspire you to live your yoga all day, every day—both on and off the mat. Each practice provides an opportunity to rejuvenate and celebrate a new way of being,” said Karen Fox, owner of The Yoga Studio.

SpinCycle and The Yoga Studio will both be located at 736 Hanover Place, Suite 113 on the first floor of the Drewry Simmons Vornehm building on the interior of Carmel City Center.

Drewry Simmons Vornehm presenting Estate Planning Seminars

Estate Planning is a topic that is often put off in favor of more immediate concerns. However, making the proper arrangements can ensure a smoother transition of your properties and make sure that your loved ones are taken care of in the future. Drewry Simmons Vornehm is presenting two Estate Planning Seminars to help educate the community on the topic.

As retirement draws closer, many Boomers have questions about how to properly arrange their assets and estate to provide planning for their family, maximize their retirement income, and deal with the potential for long-term care.

The “Estate Planning for Boomers” seminar will explore the facts and fiction in estate planning and elder law to assist Boomers in providing security for themselves and their loved ones during retirement, disability, and upon death.

Carmel Ranked #1 Best Place to Live

Congratulations to Carmel, IN for being ranked the number one best place to live by Money Magazine!

Here is a snipit from the Money Magazine article:

1. Carmel, IN

Top 100 Rank: 1

Population: 80,100

“Five years ago Carmel was a quiet, upscale bedroom community that offered an easy 20-minute commute to downtown Indianapolis. Despite the recession, this formerly sleepy burb has since transformed itself into the ideal place to work and play.

Carmel’s business district now has the second-largest concentration of office workers in Indiana and an unemployment rate that’s just over half the national average.

The city also has excellent schools, a big sports and recreation center, a performing arts center, and wide bike lanes. All that, plus a variety of housing options ranging from older homes to new subdivisions, and you have an irresistible draw for families.”
